I trained as a graphic designer both at Ravensbourne and the Central School of Art and then worked for several major London design groups in the 1960s and 70s. Painting has always been my first love though, and during that time I began selling my work through an agent in Chelsea, much of which went to American collectors.
Much later on in life I taught Art at Stamford School from 1997-2000, and have taught art to adults at Stamford Arts Centre for over 20 years.
An exhibiting member of the Welland Valley Arts Society and Northamptonshire & Rutland Open Studios, I’ve recently been accepted as a member of the prestigious Aldeburgh Arts Club. I’ve previously exhibited at Sands Gallery in Harrogate, Strand Gallery in Aldeburgh, and the Bell Gallery, Bungay. Commissions are welcome. Giclee prints and cards are available on request.
